Soldiers and Sailors Monument
Located in Monument Circle, this 300-foot tall tower dedicated to US Civil War veterans has become a symbol of Indianapolis and Indiana. An observation deck near the top offers a view of the city.

Built in 1888, this is the second building to serve as the State Capitol of Indiana. Greek and Italian architecture dominate the structure, which features beautiful plaster and stained glass designs in its interior. Tours are given each day.
